Vacant position
Cooking environmental worker in 80% project position
We are looking for a food enthusiast with a heart for young people, who wants to use their expertise to give young people a taste of working life, tools to believe in themselves and guidance to find their way forward.
Løvetannakademiet works to include young people aged 16-30 who are outside school and work. By operating food trucks and providing catering services to companies and private individuals, we give young people the opportunity to gain work experience, social skills and guidance to quickly return to school or further into working life.
We operate a waffle cart under the concept "Vaffelbrigaden" and a food truck under the name "Pølsekompaniet", which sells locally produced organic sausages with accessories. You will be involved in developing these further, so that we can get more young people into work!
Work tasks
Desired skills and experience
Personal qualities:
We are looking for you who are committed, knowledgeable and love to make, grow and collect food, and are eager to teach young people about how different ingredients can be used. You don't present yourself as "only" working 80%", because you know that you always give 100% in the 80% position you are at work.
The position involves some staggered working hours, with some evening and weekend work
As an organization that works specifically with young people in a vulnerable life situation, we will ask the person we hire to present a simplified police certificate.
We offer:
Not the chance to become a millionaire, but a workplace with innovative thinking and a genuine commitment to creating a more inclusive society. You get the opportunity to influence your own workplace and a high level of trust from day one. We are located in scenic surroundings on the Aarhus farm and belong to a larger community of wonderfully knowledgeable people who are passionate about local food, sustainability and all kinds of edible plants.
Place of work: Århusvegen 191, 3721 Skien.
Position percentage: 80% until Dec 2023, with possibility of extension and expansion of position depending on grants.
Assignment: Immediately
Salary: By agreement
